In this writing assignment, I discussed the piece End of Food by Lizzie Widdicombe. In the End of Food Widdicombe interviewed and talked to an engineer named Rob Rhinehart who came up with a food replacement powder named Soylent. In my paper, I argue that food will not “die” and still remain in our everyday lives even though Soylent has the ability to replace it. I bring up the ways that food has and continues to affect our daily lives, and how food holds a scientific value in today’s world.
